6 Month Check-up & Needles...

Six month check-up... didn't go so well...

Ben only gained 1/2 an ounce since his last appointment, and only grew 1/2 an inch. Which means, he fell off the chart for babes his age. He weights 14lbs 13.5 ounces and measures 25 inches long! Our doctor is reccommending we add more feedings and increase cereal, and veggie intake as well, and then she will see him again in a month... just before we go to NS for our vacation.

He also go his 6 month needles... so both Ben AND Mommy left the office a little teary today!

We'll work hard at having him catch up this month :) Please pray for him. :)

Other than that he is excelling in all his other motor skills and milestones!!! So we are very thankful for that :)

Ben with Dr. Koobair!!

Ben hanging on to Daddy... I think he knows the needles are next!!

Are they not the most handsome blue eyes.... EVER??

Biting his nails waiting for his dr.'s report..hahhaha.

Another shot with Daddy :)

When our generation of babies was growing up, we didn't have this percentile range to contend with. I don't think any of my three babies even weighed 20 pounds by the time they were a year old, and in fact, one only weighed 18 pounds - but they were healthy and they all grew up to be normal - in fact one of them is 6 feet tall!
